Hey girly, there are studies actually recommending feeding when the baby is hungry rather than sticking to a rigid schedule. Don't listen to anyone trust your instincts, they're usually right ;)
Thats how i am with my daughter. She has made her own schedule, (: about 7 ounces every 3 hrs.

I have been giving Jaidyn water since she was born. Granted i never give her more than 4 to 5 ounces in one day.
I think some doctors tell mothers these things because they want all babies on this type of schedule thing. When every baby isn’t the same at all.
Like, when they tell you “feed him/her every three hours.” My baby wanted a bottle every 2 hours. They need to try to understand not all babies can handle the same schedule.
So, i think giving you’re baby water is actually a good thing. Especially if its summer, or something. Plus, who wants milk buildup in their mouth all damn day.
Basically, do what you feel is right with your baby.
You know them even better than doctors.

Okay, so Jaidyn is now 3 months old.
&& this is everything that has went down so far.
I’ve started getting off my lazy ass and cleaning every day at around 4:30.
I don’t know why, but the last couple weeks all i’ve wanted to do is clean, everything. My current job at sonic, was a failure due to the fact that i couldn’t stand the filth. Everything was so disgusting and the people there were horrible. So, I’m going to Texas Roadhouse next week, (wish me luck!).
Milestones Jaidyn has reached : Rolling over, Holding bottle, Sleeping from 11 pm to 9 am, cooing, reaching for things, laughing, eating baby food && drinking concentrated juice, with water.
Things we’re having problems with : She’s starting to get to where she will NOT be put down, she acts as if she’s teething but I’m not sure, and she won’t sleep in her own bed.
My milestones : I’ve learned to grow patient with the early mornings && late nights, I’ve lost a lot of weight, I’ve matured a whole lot, my attitude is wonderful, my priorities are FINALLY straightened out, and I’ve become a full time mom. I do everything around the house, go to school and take care of my child.
So that’s month 3, and i am completely proud of myself.
I am slowly trying to prove the fact that teenage mothers can be successful. We strive to do the best for our children, and we will make sure that the best is given.
So to all those teen moms out there bustin’ their ass, you’re making a difference, and the world will eventually see it.
